Labradorite Blue Granite Slabs is a dark grey/green anorthosite with iridescent blue areas. This blue granite stone may be nominated as granite on a global scale, however, in the European Standard's application region, this Labradorite granite must be designated as an anorthosite. Because the veining and color of Labradorite Blue granite vary greatly and a tiny sample may not be indicative of the entire granite slab, swatch samples must be approved for major projects to confirm that the blocks are all pulled from the same quarry face for matching purposes. A clear epoxy resin filler may be used during the polishing process to cover any micro-fissures or microscopic pitting, however, this does not affect the stone's integrity and only produces an even smoother surface finish. Labradorite Granite is frost resistant and has a consistent polish, making it appropriate for both indoor and exterior use.
